Job summary

LCB Senior Living in Lewes, DE is hiring a Cook at The Lodge at Historic Lewes to help deliver restaurant-style dining for residents. This full-time role requires teamwork, food preparation, and adherence to safety standards.

You will work closely with the Culinary Services Director to prepare meals, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and support special events. Previous kitchen experience and Serve Safe are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–3 years of cook experience in a hospitality or healthcare environment.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a high level of customer service and promote a restaurant style dining atmosphere.
• Assist with preparation and execution of dining programs.
• Maintain kitchen and food storage areas in a clean, safe and sanitary condition.
• Open and/or close the kitchen.
• Ensure food is received, stored and prepared according to standards.
• Prepare and serve snacks and beverages to residents.
