Job summary

Oakmont of Roseville, part of Oakmont Management Group, is seeking a Driver to safely operate community vehicles for outings and events in Roseville, CA. You will assist residents, ensure loads are secure, and comply with safety and regulatory standards.

The role requires a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement, a clean background, and good communication with residents and staff. Shifts are Tue–Sat, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with benefits and team support.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement to drive the bus.
• Prefer two (2) years of experience driving a vehicle/van/bus transporting people.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, residents and families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely on outings, excursions, special activities, and personal resident appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading of residents and belongings onto and off community vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal laws when operating community vehicles.
• Maintain vehicle inspection and safety standards; demonstrate safe driving.
• Act as a member of the activity staff during outings and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
