Job summary

Oakmont Management Group in Irvine, CA is hiring a Driver to safely operate community vehicles for outings and events, assist residents during loading and unloading, and ensure compliance with driving laws. The role supports residents and staff while upholding the company’s mission and safety standards.

Candidates must be at least 21, hold a Class B license with Passenger Endorsement, and have good written and verbal communication. A background check and health screening are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have a Class B or Class C license with Passenger Endorsement.
• Prefer two years of experience driving vehicles transporting people.
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
• For health and safety, vaccination/testing may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Operate community vehicles safely for outings, excursions, special activities, and resident appointments.
• Assist with the safe loading of residents and their belongings onto/off of community vehicles.
• Follow all state and federal driving laws when operating community vehicles.
• Comply with standards and processes for proper vehicle inspection and driving; demonstrate safe driving.
• Act as a member of the activity staff during outings/excursions and within the community.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
