Job summary

Ivy Living, Ivy Park at Hayward, is seeking a Front of House Supervisor to uphold dining excellence for residents and guests. You will supervise service, assist with meal delivery, manage the dining room POS system, and ensure proper etiquette while maintaining a clean, safe environment.

You'll lead staff, schedule shifts, participate in resident orientation, and collaborate with the Executive Director on staffing decisions, training, and performance reviews to support independent living for

Qualifications

• Must be eighteen (18) years of age.
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent; college courses in food service/management preferred.
• Prefer one year of experience in a restaurant or similar environment.
• Prefer one year of experience supervising and managing employees.
• Able to operate standard household equipment and a PC; proficient in MS Office programs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the service of meals to ensure maximum resident enjoyment and consistent service.
• Assist residents and servers in all dining room areas as needed.
• Ensure dining room POS system operates efficiently and train staff on its use.
