Job summary

Ebenezer seeks a Server/Culinary Assistant at our Plymouth, MN location to provide dining room meal service for residents in the Assisted Living community. The role includes maintaining kitchenettes, following service procedures, and ensuring resident dietary needs are met.

Ideal candidates have less than 1 year of experience and a High School Diploma; benefits are available and training will be provided to learn the EMenu system and service style.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Less than 1 year experience required.
• Food service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves meals and keeps dining area clean and inviting.
• Follows meal serving schedule and procedures.
• Offers resident meal choices and meets dietary needs.
• Uses proper safety and sanitation techniques.
• Follows dining room cleaning schedule and procedures.
• Follows proper procedures for dining room setup.
• Maintains proper workflow to stay on task.
• Learns and becomes proficient with EMenu System and restaurant service style.
• Ensures all dishes, flatware, and drinkware are washed and stored before end of shift.
• Promotes resident relations and satisfaction: greets residents, accommodates substitutions, and addresses complaints with guidance from leadership.
