Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is seeking a friendly Server to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our senior residents in a community setting. You will take orders, serve meals, accommodate dietary needs, and support a welcoming, inclusive dining environment while building relationships with residents.

We offer a supportive team, flexible shifts including weekends and holidays, and opportunities for training and growth within a growing senior living network.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred but not required.
• A Food Handler Card with an understanding of kitchen sanitation and food codes is a plus.
• Experience in serving, hospitality, or customer service is a plus.
• Previous experience in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality settings is highly desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Friendly, patient, and professional demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to excellent customer service.
• Availability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and guests warmly, creating a positive dining atmosphere.
• Take meal orders accurately and deliver food and beverages promptly.
• Ensure meals meet residents' dietary requirements and preferences.
• Serve meals with a smile and maintain a welcoming dining environment.
• Set tables with linens, utensils and glassware before meals.
• Clear and reset tables for next service.
• Communicate resident feedback to Culinary Director/kitchen staff.
• Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines and health regulations.
• Adhere to Cogir senior living standards and policies.
