Job summary

The Ivy Mountain View is a premier senior living community offering five-star services and amenities. The Server role involves courteous food service, POS entry, and teamwork to enhance resident experiences.

We provide benefits and opportunities across multiple states; experience is welcome but training is available. The position requires at least 16 years of age and a background/health screening per policy.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For health and safety, vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, courteous manner.
• Take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and break down tables.
• Maintain proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe environment, following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork with co-workers and other departments.
