Job summary

Ivy Park at Cathedral Hill is seeking a server to deliver friendly, courteous dining service to residents, families, and visitors. The role includes taking orders, entering them into the POS, and setting up/busing tables in a supportive, team-focused environment.

The position emphasizes safety, proper etiquette, and a genuine desire to help seniors. Training is provided; applicants must be at least 16 and able to pass background checks and health screenings.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years old with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with residents, families, and staff.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests.
• Vaccination and PPE per safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a courteous, professional manner.
• Take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS.
• Set up and bus tables.
• Maintain proper serving etiquette and techniques.
• Maintain a safe environment and follow safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork across departments.
