Job summary

Ivy Park at Santa Rosa, part of Oakmont Management Group, seeks a Server to deliver friendly, courteous dining service to residents, families, and guests in a premier senior living community. The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and adherence to serving etiquette, with training provided and a supportive team environment.

The position requires 16+ years old, a high school diploma or equivalent, and a passion for elder care.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer).
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
