Job summary

Ivy Park at Santa Rosa, a premier senior living community managed by Oakmont Management Group, is hiring a Server. You will serve residents and guests with courtesy, take orders, and support dining operations in a compassionate, team-focused environment.

We offer benefits including medical, dental, vision, vacation, life insurance, and a 401(k) plan. Training is provided for the right candidate who is at least 16 years old and meets health and background screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience is preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 16 years of age with a work permit.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• For health and safety, vaccination and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Serve residents, family members, and visitors in a professional, dignified, efficient, and courteous manner.
• Accurately and professionally take residents' and guests’ food and beverage orders and enter them into the POS (point of sale computer).
• Set up and break down (bus) tables.
• Assure compliance with all proper serving techniques/etiquette.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments.
