Job summary

Cedarhurst of West Plains is seeking a Dining Server to deliver an exceptional dining experience for residents and guests, maintaining high cleanliness and food safety standards. You will support daily meal service and special events, assist with food preparation, and collaborate with team members to uphold Cedarhurst's dining standards.

You will communicate effectively with residents and families, follow recipes, maintain table settings, and participate in cost-control by minimizing waste.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to two years of prior experience preferred, with senior living experience strongly desired.
• Licensure preferred, with ability to obtain licensure if required by state.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, web-based platforms, EHR systems, and HR-related systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous and efficient dining service to residents and guests.
• Assist with catering, room service, and special events.
• Maintain a clean, safe dining area and uphold food safety standards.
• Clear and reset tables, and assist with cost-control by minimizing waste.
• Communicate menu details to residents and families.
