Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Rio Rancho is seeking a Dining Room Server to provide high-quality meal service and a gracious environment for residents. The role involves accurate order taking and relay to kitchen staff, delivering exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean, sanitary dining area.

The position offers shifts from 5:00am–1:00pm or 1:00pm–8:00pm, with both full-time and part-time opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness, hygiene, and a sanitary environment at all times.
• Oversee bistro areas as directed – food presentation, cleanliness, stock supplies, beverages, and related tasks.
• Know the specials of the day and how they are prepared and presented.
• Learn resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes.
• Must serve hot food hot and cold food cold.
• Participate in the Quality Assurance Committee as directed.
• Sanitize tables and chairs, reset tables, and vacuum floor after each meal.
• Attend all trainings, orientation, and mandatory meetings.
