Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living is seeking a Dining Room Server for our Rio Rancho senior living community. This full-time or part-time role supports high-quality meals and a gracious environment, with accurate order taking and excellent resident service.

Shifts run 5:00am–1:00pm or 1:00pm–8:00pm; weekend and holiday availability is required. We emphasize culture, servant-leadership and care for our residents, with Benefits including health insurance, 401k matching, HSA, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• Provide service of high-quality meals and facilitation of a gracious environment.
• Accurate communication and order taking; relay orders to back of house staff.
• Offer exceptional customer service to residents in interactions.
• Learn resident names, dietary needs, requests, likes and dislikes; maintain service standards.

Responsibilities

• Be present in dining room for full meal service.
• Assist special functions as scheduled.
• Maintain high cleanliness and sanitary standards.
• Oversee bistro areas per direction; monitor presentation and stock.
• Know daily specials and how they are prepared and presented.
