Job summary

Discovery Senior Living in Cypress, TX, is seeking a Server to support daily dining operations and create a warm, welcoming experience for our residents and guests.

You will take orders, serve meals, and maintain a clean dining environment while ensuring high standards of hospitality. This role requires flexibility to work mornings, evenings, and weekends and a passion for serving seniors.

Qualifications

• Previous dining or hospitality experience preferred.
• Enjoys working with seniors and providing excellent customer service.
• Demonstrates good judgment, time management, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take meal and beverage orders and serve food in a friendly, professional, and timely manner.
• Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals and dining experience.
• Maintain knowledge of daily specials, menus, and food items to assist residents with selections.
• Set up, maintain, and clean dining room tables, side stations, and surrounding areas.
• Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
• Practice proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures.
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including completing assigned checklists.
• Support orientation and training of new servers as needed.
• Maintain high standards of appearance, cleanliness, and hospitality.
• Assist with dining room organization, flow, and supply placement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
