Job summary

Fieldstone Communities is seeking a Dining Aide to provide prompt, courteous meal service to residents at Fieldstone Cooper Point in Olympia, WA. The role supports nutrition needs, ensures a clean dining environment, and participates in required trainings.

Responsibilities include reading orders, plating meals per diet lists, relaying kitchen orders, and assisting residents with dining. A compassionate, flexible performer with team spirit is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and appliances.
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• Maintains clean, neat, safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.
• Relates positively and communicates appropriately with residents, families, community members, volunteers and other employees.
• Has compassion and interest in working with seniors.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Pass a criminal background and fingerprint check.
• Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.

Responsibilities

• Provide prompt and courteous service to residents during meals.
• Read production orders and determine items to place on trays.
• Place food servings on plates according to diet lists.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and serve courses from kitchen and service bars.
• Assist residents to dining area as required.
• Attend required meetings and trainings; stay current on tasks.
• Maintain assigned station and clean counters and tables.
• Washes and puts away dishes; perform other duties as assigned.
