Cascadia Senior Living is seeking a Dining Aide to support residents by delivering attentive meal service and maintaining a pleasant dining environment at Fieldstone Cooper Point in Olympia, WA. This role emphasizes reliability, compassion, and teamwork with kitchen and care staff.

The position requires flexible hours, strong English communication, and the ability to follow diet lists and production orders. Training and meetings are part of the duties to ensure high-quality resident experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, and understand English.
• Meets all mandatory health requirements by State regulations.
• Compassion and interest in working with the senior population.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to undergo a criminal background and fingerprint check.

Responsibilities

• Read production orders on coded menu cards to determine items to place on tray.
• Portion and place foods on plates/trays according to diet lists.
• Relay orders to the kitchen and serve courses from kitchen/service bars.
• Observe diners to anticipate needs and respond to requests.
• Prepare utensils, napkins, and condiments for service.
• Maintain and reset counters and tables after each course.
• Assist residents to dining area if needed and provide courteous service.
• Attend required meetings and trainings and stay updated on tasks.
• Wash dishes and help with cleaning duties as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
