Rolling Hills Health & Rehab in Topeka, KS seeks a dedicated Dietary Cook to join our culinary team serving residents with nutritious, flavorful meals.

You will prepare breakfast, lunch, and dinner, collaborate with dietary staff to meet dietary needs, maintain a clean kitchen, and help with menu planning and events. A high school diploma is required; culinary certification is preferred; healthcare experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
• Previous experience in food preparation and cooking, preferably in a healthcare setting.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and safety.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals for residents, including special dietary requests and restrictions.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to safety and sanitation standards.
• Collaborate with dietary staff to plan and execute meal service for residents.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed to maintain adequate stock levels.
• Participate in menu planning and food preparation for special events and activities.
