Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Cook to prepare meals in accordance with policies and dietary guidelines under the direction of the Director of Food Services. You will help ensure meals meet planned menus and quality standards while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The role requires ServSafe compliance, basic computer skills, and the ability to work with elderly residents. This is an on-site position in Topeka, Kansas, with regular shifts and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have successfully completed all ServSafe educational requirements.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Comply with the Facility’s personnel, safety, and corporate policies and procedures.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident and family information.
• Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus and recipes.
• Ensure meals are palatable and served with proper portion control.
• Follow infection control and safety regulations at all times.
