Job summary

Stoney River Marshfield is seeking a friendly Dietary Aide to support meal preparation and service in a senior living community. You will work with cooks and care teams to provide nourishing meals, maintain cleanliness, and ensure resident satisfaction while upholding dignity and respect in every interaction.

The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to follow dietary guidelines, with opportunities for growth and on‑the‑job training.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or healthcare preferred but not required— we'll train the right person!
• Ability to follow instructions, multitask, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks according to resident care plans and dietary guidelines.
• Set up dining areas and ensure meals are served on time, at the proper temperature, with good presentation.
• Provide meal assistance to residents with kindness and respect.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, work areas, and dining spaces following food safety protocols.
• Wash dishes, utensils, and cookware using proper sanitation procedures.
• Dispose of food and waste and ensure compliance with health standards.
• Communicate resident preferences or dietary changes to dietary manager or nursing staff.
• Greet residents warmly and create a positive dining experience at every meal.
