Job summary

Seaton Senior Living is seeking a Director of Culinary Services to provide strategic oversight and hands-on leadership of our Culinary Services Department. You will be responsible for menu planning, staffing, food quality, safety, and budget performance, while ensuring resident satisfaction and operational excellence.

The role requires strong leadership, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for enriching senior living dining experiences.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of culinary leadership in high-volume environments.
• Hands-on experience leading kitchen operations and staff oversight.
• Food Safety Certification required.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation, food handling, and loss prevention.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily culinary operations and participate in meal preparation and service.
• Plan and execute menus meeting resident dietary guidelines.
• Monitor food quality, presentation, and sanitation; implement improvements.
• Oversee purchasing, inventory control and vendor contracts.
• Manage budgets and control costs; take corrective actions as needed.
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate culinary staff; lead training programs.
• Engage with residents during meals to ensure satisfaction.
