Job summary

Requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, at least one year of cook experience, and Food Manager Certification (or ability to obtain). CPR/BLS is preferred, and familiarity with safety procedures is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 1 year experience as a cook preferred.
• Food Manager Certification, or ability to obtain, is required.
• CPR or BLS certification preferred.
• Proficiency with common software and digital tools is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Prepare foods per menu cycle and recipes.
• Determine quantities and coordinate meal production with serving hours.
• Maintain temperature logs and cleaning schedules.
• Assist with training of new kitchen staff.
• Ensure food safety and infection control standards.
• Communicate with residents' families as needed.
• Collaborate with the Dining Services Director and team.
