DaySpring of Wallace is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents. The role supports a compassionate dining program and coordinates with the Dietary Manager to meet dietary needs.

The position emphasizes a clean kitchen, proper safety practices, and collaboration with staff to ensure resident satisfaction and timely meal service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience in a senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting preferred
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following menus and dietary needs.
• Serve meals timely with quality, portion control, and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen and proper food handling.
• Collaborate with Dietary Manager and train kitchen staff as needed.
• Assist with inventory and report shortages to the Dietary Manager.
• Address residents' dietary requests to ensure satisfaction.
• Comply with health and safety regulations.
