Colonnades Assisted Living in Bay City, MI is seeking a dependable Cook to join our dietary team. You will prepare delicious, home-style meals for residents, following menus and dietary requirements.

This role emphasizes timely service, a clean kitchen, safe food handling, and collaboration with the dietary team to meet residents' needs. Previous senior-living or commercial kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred, especially in assisted living, senior living, or a commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well with others.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide quality meals for seniors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as needed.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and serve nutritious, home-style meals for our residents.
• Follow established menus, recipes, and resident dietary requirements.
• Ensure meals are prepared and served on time.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
