Magnolia Creek Assisted Living is seeking an experienced Cook to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals for residents. You will prepare meals according to menus while honoring dietary requirements and resident preferences.

Responsibilities include timely meal service, maintaining a clean kitchen, collaborating with staff, assisting with inventory, and accommodating residents' dietary requests, all while adhering to health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in senior living, healthcare, or restaurant setting preferred.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Compassion for and a desire to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, ensuring nutrition and dietary needs.
• Serve meals in a timely manner with quality and presentation.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen following safety procedures.
• Collaborate with the Dietary Manager and train staff as needed.
• Assist with inventory and report shortages or needs.
• Respond to residents' dietary requests and preferences.
