Job summary

Colonnades Assisted Living is seeking an experienced Cook to join our dietary team in Bay City, MI. You will prepare nutritious, home-style meals and ensure they meet residents’ dietary requirements and timelines.

You will work with the dietary team to plan meals, manage kitchen inventory, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen to provide quality meals for seniors.

Qualifications

• Previous cooking experience preferred, especially in assisted living, senior living, or a commercial kitchen.
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy kitchen.
• Dependable, organized, and able to work well with others.
• Positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide quality meals for seniors.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, with reasonable accommodations as needed.
