Century Park Associates seeks an experienced Cook/Sous Chef to join our team in the Kansas area. The role requires preparing nutritious, high quality meals with a hospitality focus for residents, in compliance with laws and company standards. Reports to the Dining Services Director.

Both full-time and part-time positions are available. The ideal candidate has a HS diploma, at least one year of scratch cooking experience, and ServSafe certification, with a proven ability to handle large-group

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• Must have 1 year scratch food preparation experience.
• Must have prior experience regularly preparing meals for large groups.
• Must be ServSafe certified.

Responsabilités

• Maintains system to ensure timely meal services.
• Checks daily menu and events calendar to ensure supplies are available.
• Prepares meals meeting nutritional requirements and attractive presentation.
• Garnishes plates to enhance dining experience.
• Prepares food based on standardized recipes and substitutions.
• Seasons food appropriately and serves portions with accuracy.
• Operates kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintains a clean and sanitized work environment.
• Assists with supervisory duties in absence of Dining Services Director.
