Job summary

Century Park Associates is seeking a full-time cook/prep cook/sous cook to prepare nutritious, high-quality meals for residents with a hospitality focus. You will report to the Dining Services Director and help maintain timely meal services and a clean, safe kitchen environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, at least one year of scratch cooking experience for large groups, and ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Requires experience in scratch cooking for groups.
• Comfort with large-scale meal prep.
• Must be ServSafe certified.

Responsibilities

• Maintains system to ensure timely meal services.
• Checks daily menu and events calendar to ensure necessary food and supplies are available.
• Prepares meals meeting nutritional requirements as well as appetizing in appearance.
• Garnishes plates to enhance overall dining experience.
• Prepares food based on standardized recipes.
• Makes only authorized substitutions.
