Job summary

MBK Senior Living is seeking a full-time Cook to lead meal preparation for residents. You will prepare items from planned menus, ensure meals meet quality, nutrition, and safety standards, and support the Dining Services team to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, Food Handler’s and ServSafe certifications, and 2+ years of cooking experience. Competitive hourly pay, benefits, and training are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have High School Diploma or GED.
• Must hold a Food Handler’s Certification/Permit and ServSafe Certification.
• Culinary arts degree or formal vocational training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items per planned menus and recipes, ensuring quality and nutritional standards.
• Maintain HACCP standards, proper storage, labeling, and sanitation across the kitchen.
• Ensure correct portion sizes, presentation, and timely service of meals.
