Job summary

Cogir Senior Living in Washington state is seeking a part-time Cook for our community restaurant, working closely with the culinary director to create meals from scratch from traditional comfort foods to global options. You will prepare nutritious, appealing dishes and coordinate with dining services to ensure timely service for residents, staff, and guests.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a full-service kitchen, strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and knife handling, and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Culinary School is a plus or equivalent education/experience.
• Food Handler Card and kitchen sanitation knowledge required.

Responsibilities

• Be part of a compassionate, high-performing team delivering top-level results in senior living.
• Prepare and cook meals following established menus, recipes, dietary and sanitary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas on schedule; keep stations clean and sanitized.
