Job summary

Cogir Senior Living is hiring a Cook to prepare fresh, nutritious meals for residents, families, and guests in our community restaurant. You will work closely with the culinary director to create from scratch, seasonal offerings using local ingredients, while adhering to recipes and dietary guidelines.

The ideal candidate has kitchen experience, strong knife skills, and the ability to handle large-batch cooking, with flexibility to work weekends or holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; culinary training a plus.
• One year of kitchen experience in full-service operations preferred.
• Food Handler Card and knowledge of sanitation standards required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals following established menus and dietary guidelines.
• Set up and break down work areas in a timely fashion.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all stations.
• Collaborate with dining services to ensure timely service.
• Restock foods and ensure safety in handling and storage.
