Ecumen Prairie Hill and Ecumen Sand Prairie in St. Peter, Minnesota, are hiring a full-time Cook to prepare and serve meals while honoring residents' dietary needs and requests.

The role requires commitment to safety, sanitation and excellent service in a senior living environment. Key duties include meal prep, service, inventory, and collaboration with department leaders for special events, with a schedule of 5:30am–2:30pm across weekdays, every other weekend and holiday rotation.

Qualifications

• Communicates effectively with residents, families and staff.

• Demonstrates knowledge of dietary needs and resident requests.

Responsibilities

• Provides service to residents, families and guests with courtesy and responsiveness.
• Preps, cooks and serves meals; operates kitchen equipment and reports shortages.
• Follows recipes, adjusts portions for group sizes and manages leftovers.
• Maintains inventory and keeps a clean, sanitary work area; complies with regulations.
• Stocking groceries and coordinating with department leaders for events and staffing.
