Job summary

Ecumen Meadows in Worthington, MN is hiring a Cook for a part-time shift from 6:30am to 3:00pm. The cook will prepare and serve meals, accommodate special diets, and maintain a clean kitchen in line with facility policies and high service standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbal and written.
• Ability to follow all safety rules, regulations, policies and procedures of the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provides exemplary service to residents, families and guests.
• Preps, prepares, cooks and serves meals to residents, families, guests and employees.
• Follows recipes and production guidelines for proper portions and leftovers.
• Maintains inventory of food and supplies and communicates shortages.
• Keeps work area clean, sanitary and safe and compliant with regulations.
• Assists with stocking and organizing groceries and coordinating with department leaders for events.
