Job summary

Sagora Senior Living, Inc. is seeking a Cook for its Asher Point of Mobile community. You will prepare a la carte meals, monitor stock, and maintain sanitation across the kitchen while supporting training of Culinary staff.

Strong communication with residents, families and teammates is essential, with ServSafe and local permits required. This is a full-time, on-site role at a senior living community in Mobile, AL.

Qualifications

• ServSafe Certification and Food Handler's permit are required.
• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.
• Ability to prepare specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with residents, families and team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in a friendly and courteous manner.
