Job summary

MBK Senior Living in Washington state is seeking a Full-Time Cook to join our kitchen team. The Cook will prepare meals per planned menus, ensure high quality, nutrition, and presentation, and support dining services under the Executive Chef.

You'll work 6AM-7PM Thursday-Monday, with DOE hourly rate of $23–$24. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, ServSafe certification, and a food handler permit, plus 2+ years of cooking experience. We offer training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; Food Handler certification required; ServSafe certification required.
• Culinary Arts degree or formal vocational training preferred.
• 2+ years cooking/food prep in a similar environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare all food items per planned menus and recipes with high quality, nutritious and appetizing results.
• Ensure proper stocking and inventory use.
• Follow governmental, sanitary, and HACCP regulations and report infractions.
• Maintain safe temperatures and proper storage; portion control and presentation.
• Interact professionally with residents and staff and take feedback on meals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation and comply with safety standards.
