Provincial Senior Living in Guilford, CT is seeking a friendly, skilled Cook to join our dining team in a community setting. You will prepare hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar and service lines, ensuring portion control, recipe accuracy and high-quality presentation for residents and staff.

Ideal candidates have prior senior living, restaurant or catering experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living, restaurants, catering, or banquets preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety.
• Great organizational skills a must.
• Strong communication skills.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line.
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
