Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team. You will prepare hot and cold menu items across the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line, ensuring proper preparation, portioning and serving per menu cycle and recipes.

Ideal candidates have experience in senior living or hospitality, strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail and pride in food presentation. Weekend availability is required to support our resident-centered meals and events.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living, restaurants, catering, or banquets.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety.
• Great organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line.
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
