Job summary

Sagora Senior Living is seeking a cook for one of our Brayden Park community locations. You will prepare high-quality meals for residents, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and ensure safe food handling standards are met in a fast-paced, team-focused environment.

The role requires ServSafe and Food Handler permits, 1+ year of kitchen experience, and strong communication with residents and staff. We value commitment, empowerment, and teamwork in our dedicated care communities.

Qualifications

• One or more years of experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit as regulated by state and local authorities.
• Must have skills in preparing specialized dishes for specific diets.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively with residents, families, and other team members.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner.
