Sagora Senior Living is hiring a Cook at one of its Maplewood-based communities in West Virginia. The cook will prepare high-quality meals for residents, handle daily kitchen duties, and ensure safety and sanitation standards.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of kitchen experience, ServSafe and state health permits, strong communication, and a team-oriented attitude. Sagora supports growth, offers benefits, and values residents-first care.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.
• Must possess ServSafe Certification and Food Handler’s permit.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Cook à la carte items.
• Monitor stock.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of equipment, food storage, and work areas.
• Assist with training of all Culinary team members.
• Follow established methods of meal preparation and presentation.
• Serve meals to residents promptly and in friendly and courteous manner.
