The Landing - Roseburg, OR is seeking a Cook to join our senior living team. You will assist in meal preparation, presentation, and maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment under the supervision of the Dining Services Director.

You will greet residents and families, support a positive dining atmosphere, and help orient new staff. A culinary background and English communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Formally trained in culinary arts or have equivalent experience.
• Willingness to learn and work within a team environment.
• Organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Food handlers permit or ability to obtain one as required by state regulations.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English with residents and coworkers.
• Pass a criminal background check.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with or without accommodation.

Responsabilidades

• Prep and prepare meals under the guidance of the Dining Services Director.
• Ensure meals are nutritious, appetizing, and presented attractively.
• Help orient new team members and assist with scheduling.
• Greet elders, families, visitors, and team members.
• Maintain equipment and keep work areas clean, safe, and orderly.
• Adhere to infection control and foodborne illness prevention procedures.
