The Landings of Georgetown is seeking an experienced cook to join our culinary team and provide nutritious, high-quality meals to residents. You will prepare and cook meals according to menus and dietary needs while maintaining high standards of presentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred depending on role.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
• Ability to follow recipes and meal plans.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Food Preparation: Prepare and cook meals according to menu plans, ensuring meals are nutritious and prepared to dietary requirements.
• Meal Service: Serve meals timely with quality, portion control and presentation.
• Kitchen Maintenance: Maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen following safety procedures.
• Team Collaboration: Work with Dietary Manager and kitchen staff; assist in training new staff.
• Inventory Control: Help track supplies and report shortages to Dietary Manager.
• Resident Engagement: Accommodate dietary requests and resident meal preferences.
• Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to health and safety regulations and sanitation practices.
