Provincial Senior Living is seeking a Cook to join our team and contribute to meals for residents in a senior living community. The role involves preparing hot and cold menu items across grill, sauté, salad-bar, and service line, while following standardized recipes and menu cycles.

Strong organization and teamwork are essential to delivering quality meals. We value weekend availability, reliability, and attention to detail in food presentation.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living, restaurants, catering, or banquets preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills a must.
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and presentation of food product is required.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items which requires working on the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and on the service line.
• Ensure the proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and the standardized recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
