Job summary

Provincial Senior Living is looking for a Cook to join our team at one of our senior living communities. You will prepare hot and cold menu items across the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line to deliver fresh, flavorful meals for residents and staff.

Candidates should be skilled in production methods, portion control and food safety, with strong organization and teamwork. Weekend availability is required to support weekend service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in Senior Living, restaurants, catering, or banquets preferred.
• Experience with production methods, portion control and food handling safety required.
• Great organizational skills, communication skills, and attention to detail expected.
• Must be able to work weekends.

Responsibilities

• Prepare hot and cold menu items across the grill, sauté station, salad-bar and service line.
• Ensure proper preparation, portioning and serving of foods as indicated on the menu cycle and recipes.
• Taste and prepare food to determine quality and palatability.
