Westminster Communities of Florida is seeking a Construction Manager for our Construction and Design department to oversee senior living facility projects within the organization. The role covers feasibility studies, due diligence, ground-up construction, renovations, and building system upgrades across multiple sites in northeast Florida.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a four-year degree program in a related field.
• Minimum of ten (10) years' experience in design and construction.
• Degree in architecture, engineering or a construction-related program is a plus.
• Experience with Green Construction, FF&E coordination, Building Controls, AHCA or healthcare renovations.
• Ability to work under pressure and coordinate multiple activities across locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pre-construction and construction processes from design review to project close-out.
• Coordinate with Architect, Engineers, Contractors and other consultants to ensure specifications and regulations are followed.
• Develop cost-effective project plans and schedules; manage budgets, calendars and drawings.
• Review preliminary plans, provide budget figures and value engineering as needed.
• Monitor subcontractors' performance and administer construction contracts and permits.
• Ensure timely submittals, coordination of change-orders, and resolution of claims.
