Job summary

Acts Retirement-Life Communities seeks a Director of Construction Major Projects for large-scale facility design and construction, including renovations and expansions across multiple states. You will manage all phases of a complex project, including an 88-unit mid-rise tower through 2029, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 10+ years of PM experience, and is either FAA-certified or able to obtain certification;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of ten years' experience in construction project management, with a focus on large-scale commercial or residential developments.
• Management experience in the senior living industry (preferred).
• Demonstrated success in managing projects exceeding $50M in value.
• FAA-Certified Drone Pilot (Part 107) certification or ability to obtain is strongly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Managing all aspects of large sized or complex facility design and construction projects, including large renovations, additions, and expansions.
• Oversee project delivery in multiple states Acts operates in.
• Lead teams and coordinate with stakeholders through contract duration for the 88-unit mid-rise project through 2029.
