Job summary

The Cypress of Hilton Head is seeking a hospitality-focused Concierge to join our General Administration team. The role greets residents and guests, answers calls, coordinates transportation, and handles special requests with professional courtesy.

You will manage reservations, assist with information and directions, write work orders, and uphold our Hospitality Promises while delivering exceptional service daily.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Hospitality management coursework preferred.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone, dispatch calls and take messages.
• Coordinate transportation.
• Initiate work orders for maintenance, housekeeping, transportation and any other special request by residents, guests or staff.
• Maintain Resident Away Information and ensure that appropriate department heads are notified, including writing up work orders for special requests.
• Maintain reservation for guest apartment accommodations, including pick-up and drop-off of keys, housekeeping requirements and charge information for accounting.
• Assist residents and guests with information, directions and other inquiries of a general nature, and know when to direct inquiries requiring specialized attention.
• Maintain an overall knowledge and understanding of general operating procedures, marketing information and practices, and staff member’s names, titles and responsibilities.
• Know the members, by name. Members are to be addressed, 'Mr. XX' and 'Mrs. XX' ...
• Understands the responsibility to report suspected violations of The Cypress Club Code of Conduct to appropriate persons, or to The Cypress Club Compliance Hotline, or by completing a Written Report of Suspected Compliance Violation, or by contacting the Corporate Compliance Officer directly.
• Sends out daily mail.
• Takes appropriate precautions to avoid job related injuries and complies with injury reporting guidelines.
• Actively participates in safety programs and complies with The Cypress Club policies and procedures.
• Embraces The Cypress Hospitality Promises daily.
• Looks for ways to continuously improve safety for members, staff and visitors.
