Job summary

Savant Senior Living in Downey, CA seeks a Receptionist to be the warm, professional first point of contact for residents, families and visitors. You will deliver exceptional customer service, coordinate services and assist with administrative tasks under the Executive Director.

Ideal candidates bring prior front desk or hospitality experience, strong communication skills and the ability to multitask in a busy assisted living setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Health screening, TB clearance, and criminal record clearance.
• First Aid/ CPR certification.
• Special skills per California Code of Regulations 85065(f)/87411(g).
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality/customer service education is a plus.
• Previous experience in customer service or front desk roles helpful in senior living environments.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to multitask.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents, families and visitors in a warm, friendly manner.
• Provide information, answer inquiries, and assist with requests.
• Coordinate appointments, transportation and services for residents.
• Maintain knowledge of amenities, activities and services and communicate to residents.
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain resident records.
• Keep concierge desk organized and stocked; ensure readability of materials.
