Job summary

Integrated Real Estate Group is seeking an experienced Community Manager for HomeTowne at Missouri City, a 55+ active senior living community. You will lead staff, manage operations, and ensure compliance with LIHTC, Fair Housing and state/federal requirements while maintaining strong resident satisfaction and asset value.

The role involves supervising leasing, budgeting, and reporting, with some evening/weekend work.

Qualifications

• High school graduate with an aptitude for leadership, management, office administration and mathematics.
• Previous management and real estate accounting experience necessary.
• Must have at least one-year proven track record of measurable peak property performance in similar position.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in the Low Income Housing and Tax Credits (LIHTC) Program is recommended.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, manage, lead and motivate staff and conduct annual performance evaluations.
• Oversee property accounting system (OneSite) and budget planning; may be exchanged with compliance duties.
• Maintain compliance with LIHTC, Fair Housing Act, ADA and related laws.
• Process lease paperwork daily and ensure files are complete for corporate approval.
• Monitor move-ins/move-outs and ensure timely file submission and approvals.
• Prepare weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports; manage office workflow and manuals.
• Approve expenditures up to $1,000; oversee office administration and stock levels.
• Ensure office and property are open on schedule and secure at day end.
• Monitor LIHTC compliance, fair housing and safety requirements.
