Job summary

Grace Management Inc. is seeking an Executive Director to oversee daily operations of Sedgwick Plaza in Wichita, Kansas. You will supervise department managers, ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and foster engagement among residents, families, and associates.

The role requires strong leadership, experience in senior living management, and the ability to manage budgets, payroll, and vendor relations to maintain quality care and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; five years of senior living community management experience or comparable post-high school education.
• Three years of leadership experience within senior living management.
• Must meet state and local regulatory requirements for administration of a community.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; proficient with email and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and enforce policies for community staff and activities.
• Oversee all department supervisors and administrative personnel.
• Manage financial transactions and budgeting with home office cooperation.
• Coordinate accounts receivable and payable as defined by supervision.
• Ensure resident confidentiality and safe storage of records.
• Develop relationships with residents, families, and community agencies.
• Oversee payroll and time reporting to ensure accurate payment.
• Lead sales efforts and occupancy planning with the community.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal laws.
• Organize in-service trainings and staff meetings.
• Support quality and continuity of services and safety of residents.
