Civitas Senior Living is seeking a Chef Manager / Director of Food and Beverage to lead culinary operations at The Hamptons Senior Living. You will supervise kitchen and dining staff, maintain safety and hygiene standards, and drive menu planning aligned with resident needs and nutrition guidelines.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, cost management, and staff development to ensure outstanding culinary experiences for seniors in our community.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience; culinary leadership preferred.
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience; 2+ years preferred in a food service management role.
• Knowledge of DHSR Dietary regulations and state food service orientation requirements.
• Compassion and a genuine desire to elevate culinary experiences for elderly residents.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and guide all food and beverage staff.
• Ensure equipment maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and hygiene compliance.
• Strategically manage food costs, budgets, and inventory control.
• Conduct interviews, hires, and ongoing staff training and development.
• Create and plan menus for community and resident events, considering nutrition and preferences.
• Enforce policies, procedures, and disciplinary actions as needed.
