Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant work experience in culinary leadership or food service management.
• 1+ year supervisory experience in a food service setting preferred.
• Knowledge of DHSR Dietary regulations and state-required Food Service Orientation Manual completion.
• Compassionate care and a genuine desire to elevate dining for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor, and guide all food and beverage staff.
• Ensure equipment maintenance, cleanliness, safety, and hygiene compliance.
• Manage food costs, budgeting, and inventory control.
• Conduct interviews, hires, orient new staff, and provide ongoing training.
• Schedule staff and manage attendance for optimal coverage.
• Enforce policies and disciplinary actions as needed.
• Collaborate on menu planning and special events with nutritional considerations.
